Welcome to another powerful special episode of the Spiritual Spotlight Podcast! We're still coming to you from beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, where I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with another amazing man of God, Brother Bill, a passionate worship leader who serves with Love Annapolis!

Brother Bill shares his incredible journey of growing up in a home where his mother faithfully taught her children about Jesus, despite the struggles his family faced because of his father's alcoholism.
At just nine years old, Bill gave his heart to Jesus Christ, beginning a lifelong journey of faith, music, and worship. Over the years, God opened doors for him to sing in church choirs, travel throughout the Maritimes with the Good News Band, write Christian music, and eventually step into worship leadership.
But what makes Bill's testimony so powerful isn't simply his musical talent. It's his understanding of what true worship really means!
During our conversation, Bill shares how God helped him navigate family struggles, personal heartbreak, and difficult seasons while teaching him the importance of surrendering everything to the Lord.
One of the most powerful things Brother Bill shared was this:
"Worship is not a thing that you do. It's what you live."
Folks, think about that for a moment!
Worship isn't just standing on a platform singing songs or playing an instrument. It's spending time with the Father, listening for His voice, surrendering our desires, and honoring Him in everything we do.
Brother Bill also shares some incredible encouragement for worship leaders, musicians, and anyone who desires a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. We discuss the importance of intimacy with God, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead, finding peace in quiet moments, and remembering that our identity comes from being children of God, not from our talents or positions.

From a Troubled Past to a Life of Purpose – When God Calls, Everything Changes!

Welcome to another powerful special episode of the Spiritual Spotlight Podcast! We're still coming to you from beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, where I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with another amazing man of God, Elder Brian Parris of Jordan Love Anointed Ministries International!
Folks, this is a wonderful testimony of faith, perseverance, obedience, and what happens when we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ!
Growing up in a Christian household, Brian was surrounded by prayer, church, and parents who worked hard to raise their children with strong values. However, despite his religious upbringing, Brian shares how he struggled with making poor choices, getting caught up in worldly temptations, and not truly understanding what it meant to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
But God had a greater plan for his life!
In 1995, after attending church with his Aunt Ruth, Brian answered the call of Jesus Christ and surrendered his life to the Lord. That decision began an incredible journey of spiritual growth, ministry, and service to others.
And folks, his journey didn't stop there!
With a professional background in clinical social work, mental health, and addictions counseling, Elder Brian has dedicated much of his life to helping individuals and families overcome difficult circumstances.
During our conversation, Brian shares how God opened doors for him to serve as a deacon, participate in prayer ministries, support struggling families, and work alongside organizations such as 902 Man Up, helping strengthen communities affected by violence, addiction, and other challenges.
What really stood out to me was Brian's heart for people and his desire to help others physically, emotionally, and spiritually while pointing them toward the love of Jesus Christ.
We also discuss the importance of prayer, being obedient to God's calling, building stronger families, mentoring others, and remembering that God's love and purpose extend to people from every background and walk of life.
One powerful reminder from this interview comes from Jeremiah 29:11: God has plans for our lives, and our circumstances do not have to determine our future!

30 Years Without God – Until One Conversation Changed Everything!

Welcome to another powerful special episode of the Spiritual Spotlight Podcast! We're still coming to you from beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, where I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with another amazing brother in Christ, Zachary Van Rossum, also known as Big Zach!
Folks, this is an incredible testimony of God's love, grace, forgiveness, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ!
For nearly 30 years, Zach lived a life struggling with alcohol, drugs, broken relationships, and doing things his own way. Although he had grown up around the church, he had walked away from God and never gave Him much thought.
But God wasn't finished with Zach!
Through an unexpected conversation with a realtor, a Bible given to him by his uncle, a journey through sobriety, and a surprising encounter with an old friend named Patrick, Zach began searching for the truth about Jesus Christ.
And here's where his testimony gets even more powerful!
After reading the Gospel of Matthew and attending Bible studies, Zach found himself at a church gathering where he experienced what he describes as an overwhelming encounter with the Holy Spirit. The man who had been only 90% convinced that Jesus was real walked away declaring that he believed 100%!
What a powerful reminder that God can reach us right where we are!
Today, Zach shares how his faith has completely changed his outlook on life. Even while facing financial struggles and uncertainty, he has discovered a peace that he never experienced before. He also shares his journey toward two years of sobriety and how God's Word, prayer, and fellowship have helped transform his life.
During our conversation, we discuss the importance of surrendering our lives to Christ, understanding God's unconditional love, the power of the Holy Spirit, and learning to trust God's plans even when life doesn't go the way we expect.
One thing Zach shared really stood out to me:
"How can you deny the Gospel if you haven't read it?"

From Darkness to Light – A Life Transformed by Jesus Christ!

Welcome to another powerful special episode of the Spiritual Spotlight Podcast! Coming to you from beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, where I had the wonderful opportunity to attend an amazing men's conference and sit down with a new brother in Christ named Patrick.
Folks, this is one testimony you don't want to miss!
Patrick is a former Canadian infantry soldier who shares his incredible journey through childhood struggles, military service, PTSD, depression, personal loss, broken relationships, and a desperate search for peace and purpose.
His search for God took him around the world, including South America and India, where he explored different spiritual practices while struggling with addiction, emotional pain, and what he describes as spiritual darkness.
But here's where his story becomes truly powerful!
When Patrick reached one of the lowest points of his life, struggling with hopelessness and thoughts of suicide, he cried out to God for help. Through the love, prayers, and support of fellow believers, Patrick experienced what he describes as a life-changing deliverance that ultimately led him to surrender his life to Jesus Christ in 2025.
Today, Patrick is walking in a new direction, growing in his faith, studying God's Word, and preparing to help others who are struggling with some of the same battles he once faced.
During our conversation, we also discuss the importance of knowing who we are in Christ, the authority believers have through Jesus, the power of prayer, and remembering that our past does not have to define our future!
One thing I want everyone to remember is this: No matter how dark your circumstances may seem, there is hope in Jesus Christ! Your story is not over!
